This traditional technique, brought to life by Sri Lankan batik artisans, has been elevated by Saree Selections through a collaboration with Aboriginal artist and Biripi Elder, Dr Leonard Smith from New South Wales. The iconic Australian native Pink Flowering Gum, into a stunning handmade batik design on a saree. This unique fusion of Aboriginal artistry and Sri Lankan craftsmanship celebrates both cultures while creating a meaningful, wearable piece of art that honours heritage and creativity.
